As the weeks go by, it is getting harder and harder for me to get things done.... why? Well, Barrett is all over the place!! I left him in his room the other day and ran to the kitchen for something, when I went back in, he wasn't there!! Ahhhh.... he had made his way all the way down the hall and into Taylor's room, where he was attempting to get into her toy box! So now, he if he can't be right next to me, he is in his walked or bouncer. Luckily for him, he has an amazing big sister. She is such a sweetheart and always willing to help me out. I witnessed something so touching the other day... I really needed to accomplish something and Taylor was in her room playing with her dolls, I asked her if she would mind letting Barrett play too, of course she said yes. I had to capture this on camera!! I love my babies so much, they make me smile everyday!

Trick or Treat!!

Halloween was so much fun! We started the day off with baking and decorating some Halloween cupcakes. Of course after they were finished, everyone had to try some! Then when the sun went down, we took the kids to a neighborhood here on Post and it ended up being the perfect amount of houses. The best part for Taylor was that we ran into one of her friends from school while we were trick or treating, so we ended up tagging along with them the rest of the way. For some reason, it seemed as though some of the houses were very into being scary this year... we skipped those. Taylor has this new found shyness and fear, so she is very hesitant about what she will do. When the night start, she wanted me to go to the door with her, but by the end, she was running ahead with her friend. As for Barrett, he sat in the stroller and protested... he was pretty tired, but a very nice woman gave him some marshmallows, so that made him happy :) We came home with the perfect amount of candy, and Taylor even let mom and dad have a piece, such a sweet girl! Surprisingly, she only wanted to have a couple pieces and then go to bed. We had such a great night with the kids, we are so blessed to have them.

Busy Busy Halloween!

So our Halloween is turning out to be VERY busy this year.... and it isn't even Halloween yet! We are definitely putting our costumes to good use. We started last night with some festivities that were held on Post, they included a trunk or treat, a maze for kids, games and a spooky looking haunted house, which we didn't go near. It was a lot of fun, the kids were able to dress in their costumes, but naturally Mom forgot her camera.... don't worry, we came home and had a photo shoot, which they weren't to thrilled about. Today, Saturday, our Stake held a Family Fun Fair, it was a blast. We had soup, rolls, snow cones, cotton candy, nachos, and these AMAZING apple fritters! I definitely want a deep fryer now! They had bounce houses and this big inflatable slide, which had a really steep wall you had to climb, using a rope. To our surprise, Taylor climbed right up it, no problem! She is getting too big. We have really had such a wonderful weekend so far and like I said earlier, Halloween is not even here yet. We are excited to dress the kids up again and go trick or treating on monday... poor Barrett, his monkey hat is torture, but oh so cute!!

Life is Great!

As for me and my health, most of you know that I was recently diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse with mild regurgitation. It was a little tough to hear at first and even tougher to have my Doctor treat it like it was an everyday thing, and then come home and read what it actually is. To be honest though, I am not worried a bit. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and I love him and as long as I have Faith in him and stay true to my Temple Covenants, he is going to bless me and my Family in every way possible. The funny thing is, I actually feel better now that I know what is going on. Ever since I found out, I have felt nothing but peace and that tells me that everything will be ok. I only want to focus on my Family and today, not what is in the future, because none of us knows what our futures hold, so there is no sense worrying about them. I feel great and I plan on staying that way :)

As for Mr. Barrett, words can hardly describe how happy this little guy makes us. As we all know, he is a big boy, already 10 months old, but refuses to crawl! This makes it difficult for me, because naturally he wants to be everywhere I am, without any effort of course. Thankfully, he has settled for an "Army" type crawl... He pretty much drags himself with his arms, while moving one leg. It is pretty funny to watch, but it works, and he is fast!! I am constantly having to keep my eye on him, because he wants EVERYTHING, and he will get it if you allow him to. He is doing really well with walking, with our help, of course.... although I am not sure I am ready for that. He has grown so fast and I miss the tiny baby stage already, but we have so much fun with him. He and Taylor are the best of friends. She definitely feels the need to watch over him, especially when I am trying to get something done. If he is upset and I can't make him happy, all I have to do is tell her to talk to him and he just starts cracking up, it is so cute. Another thing he is doing really well with is talking. He can say Mama, Dada (or Da, which is his favorite and every he even gets a glimpse of Isaac, he starts yelling it!), baba, baby, bed, dog, and cat. I have to admit, he absolutely adores his Dad! As soon as he walks in the door, it's "Da, Da, Da, waaa waaaaaa, Da!!", all while bouncing up and down and clapping. I can't be jealous, it allows me to have a little break :)

I must say, there is nothing like Fall in Arizona.... It is mid October and still reaching 90 degrees!

With that being said, we couldn't be happier with where we are. We have been in fast forward mode since arriving here in March... my excuse for being such a poor blogger :) We definitely could not have asked for a better place to be. Our ward here is amazing! Isaac and I both have awesome callings, I am second counselor in Young Women's and he is an Elders Quorum teacher. Like I said, Awesome!! We are so blessed and have so much to be thankful for. Taylor and Barrett are growing like weeds, it is challenging keeping up with them, but the best job in the world. Taylor is in Pre-School now and although she cries for me to leave her, she loves it! She is learning so much and making so many friends. She has to write on everything now and her newfound talent is singing.... at the top of her lungs.... no matter where we are!! Normally Primary songs, so I can't complain much. This last Sunday, Taylor had her very first Primary program. She had a part that she had to memorize and she did it! She got up to the microphone and told the teacher she could do it on her own and said "Our Prophet today is President Thomas S. Monson." I was in tears! Taylor inspires me on a daily basis, her love for her Savior is so present in her life. Her Testimony is growing and helping mine grow along with it.

Fall in Arizona...
